Medicine Bag Kits Workshop
Medicine bags are small pouches that hold personal items of significance, traditionally carried for protection, healing, and spiritual connection. In this workshop, participants learn about the history and meaning of medicine bags while creating their own using locally sourced white-tailed deer leather.

Guided step by step, each participant cuts, stitches, and finishes their bag. Along the way, we share teachings about the cultural role of medicine bags, offering space for reflection, questions, and dialogue about truth and reconciliation.
This workshop is adaptable for groups of all sizes and can be hosted in person, virtually, or in a hybrid format. It’s a hands-on and educational experience that encourages participants to create something meaningful while deepening their understanding of Indigenous culture.
